Clay Sculpture

Tools: Natural clay, acrylic paint

Inspiration: Teachings is a sculpture I made that is a combination of two strong symbols in Indigenous cultures. The turtle (island) represents Mother Earth and means good health and long life (which was why it made the perfect base to build upon). The Eagle repesents freedom, honour, and bravery, but to prosper it rests on the foundation of a healthy environment.
